WHAT WE DO
Through business education, networking, mentorship, leadership development workshops, and social events, members will have the chance to join a community dedicated to helping one another succeed. By encouraging both professional and personal growth, WIB will give members pursuing business the chance to affect change not only within themselves and the university but in the world they seek beyond.
We believe in empowering all members to see themselves as leaders who are capable of breaking through any barriers they may face in the workplace.
We believe that both professional and personal growth are critical to helping members succeed in all areas of their lives.
We believe it’s important to instill in our members a sense of giving back, not just to their own community, but to the world around them.
We believe that support and encouragement are necessary to every person’s success, and aspire to create a community of people that provides that.
OUR DEI STATEMENT
Women in Business at UCSD is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all of our members and welcomes female-identifying and gender-marginalized folks of all backgrounds and experience levels. We acknowledge structural inequities that result in unequal access to opportunities and resources, and strive to create diverse representation both internally and through interactive events. We are committed to expanding our involvement in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion principles and welcome any suggestions to make our community more welcoming.
